πͺ What Youβll Need:
1 cup Sunlee Banh Xeo Flour
1 Β½ cups cold water
Thinly sliced pork belly or shrimp π€
Bean sprouts
Green onions, thinly sliced
Fresh herbs (mint, perilla, basil)
Lettuce leaves π₯¬
Nouc cham (Vietnamese dipping sauce β fish sauce, lime, garlic, chili, sugar, and water)
π₯ How to Make It:
Mix the batter: Combine BΓ‘nh XΓ¨o flour, water, and green onions. Let rest for 15β30 minutes.
Saute your filling: In a hot nonstick or cast iron pan, lightly cook pork or shrimp with a bit of oil until just done.
Pour the batter: Ladle in just enough batter to coat the pan. Swirl it thin!
Add fillings: Sprinkle with bean sprouts and a few more green onions.
Crisp it up: Cover and cook for 2β3 mins. Then uncover and let it sizzle until crispy and golden brown (another 3β5 mins).
Fold & serve: Fold the Banh Xeo in half like a taco. Serve with fresh herbs, lettuce, and a side of Nuoc cham.
