✨ Recipe by @lvciateats πŸ‘©β€πŸ³πŸ’› β€” proof that authentic flavor can be this simple!

πŸ”ͺ What You’ll Need:

  • 1 cup Sunlee Banh Xeo Flour

  • 1 Β½ cups cold water

  • Thinly sliced pork belly or shrimp 🍀

  • Bean sprouts

  • Green onions, thinly sliced

  • Fresh herbs (mint, perilla, basil)

  • Lettuce leaves πŸ₯¬

  • Nouc cham (Vietnamese dipping sauce β€” fish sauce, lime, garlic, chili, sugar, and water)

πŸ”₯ How to Make It:

  1. Mix the batter: Combine BΓ‘nh XΓ¨o flour, water, and green onions. Let rest for 15–30 minutes.

  2. Saute your filling: In a hot nonstick or cast iron pan, lightly cook pork or shrimp with a bit of oil until just done.

  3. Pour the batter: Ladle in just enough batter to coat the pan. Swirl it thin!

  4. Add fillings: Sprinkle with bean sprouts and a few more green onions.

  5. Crisp it up: Cover and cook for 2–3 mins. Then uncover and let it sizzle until crispy and golden brown (another 3–5 mins).

  6. Fold & serve: Fold the Banh Xeo in half like a taco. Serve with fresh herbs, lettuce, and a side of Nuoc cham.
